John Perrott is a founding board member of Creative Okanagan. He is excited to return to the board following a brief hiatus to complete his Master’s degree at the University of British Columbia.  

Throughout his 20 year career in community development, John’s been involved in supporting entrepreneurs, creatives, and innovators through his roles with the Downtown Kelowna Association, City of West Kelowna, and now with the City of Vernon in the role of Manager, Economic Development and Tourism.  Further, John’s involvement in the community has extended to serving and volunteering for numerous organizations including the Okanagan College Alumni Association, The Bridge Youth and Family Services, and is currently the Treasurer for the British Columbia Economic Development Association.

Outside of his work you’ll likely find John enjoying the best of the Okanagan – on the ski hill, out on the lake, hiking local trails, or checking out live music at one of the many fantastic venues in the Central Okanagan.
