Cassaundra is a graduate of Metalworks Institute; an extension of world-renowned Metalworks Studios founded by Triumph drummer Gill Moore, where she received her diploma in Live Show Production and Event Management. Previous to attending Metalworks Institute, Cassaundra spent two years at Fanshawe College and graduated with a diploma in Radio Broadcasting. Her years following graduation consisted of various volunteer and paid work within the Canadian Music Industry including CMW – Canadian Music Week, Ontario Country Music Awards and the Canadian Country Music Awards. After moving across the country from small town Ontario to the beautiful Okanagan, she made her career debut in Radio Broadcasting in 2018 as the Fun Finder for New Country 100.7. Hard work paid off and she soon found herself working with the Casey Clarke Morning Show and eventually accepting a position as the Promotions Coordinator with Bell Media. She currently works as a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator. 

During her time with New Country 100.7, Cassaundra was introduced to Karma and began her journey with Creative Okanagan. Since 2018, she has worked with Creative Okanagan helping Karma with various projects and events including stage managing West Kelowna Music in the Park.
