Join us for a night of music and celebration as the Living Things Festival marks 10 years of presenting bold, contemporary performing arts in Kelowna. The Living Things Festival, in collaboration with Creative Okanagan, invites you to come celebrate with us.

This anniversary concert and party brings our community together to celebrate a decade of artists, audiences, collaborators, and supporters who have helped shape Living Things into one of Kelowna’s signature events.

Headlining the night is MANTEASAH, a Kelowna-based duo crafting moody and seductive soundscapes that fuse bass, guitar, harmonicas, vocals, and synths, DJ’d into an electrifying blend of PHONK, electronic, and hip hop. Their immersive, genre-bending set sets the tone for an evening that celebrates experimentation, connection, and shared experience.

Additional artists and special surprises will be announced soon — expect a vibrant, celebratory atmosphere that moves seamlessly from concert to party.

Come celebrate the past, present, and future of Living Things with us.

About Manteasah
Composed of Justin MacLean ‘Makemdef’ and Jodie B, their music defies categorization, drawing inspiration from diverse musical backgrounds. With Jodie’s powerful voice and captivating lyricism on reaching a collective consciousness and Justins’s raw but sinister lyrics, the pair draws a vulnerability to the crowd with intensity and connection. Allowing the deep bass, sultry vocals and snappy drums to move as one.

Collaborating with icons like KRS-One, Atmosphere, Kytami and Phonik Ops, MANTEASAH offers a captivating sonic journey.

Notable festival performances include Shambhala Music Festival, Wicked Woods, Frendzy Fest, Intersect, Denim on the Diamond and Evolve.

Opening artist:
MSTRBSTRD (pronounced “Master Bastard”) is the artistic handle of Shaedan Hawse, a Kelowna, BC-based musician. Leaning heavily into his indie-folk and country influences, delivering a set that merges rootsy storytelling with a distinct alternative edge.

While he often drifts into experimental territory, he grounds himself in the grit and narrative of country-folk. Drawing inspiration from artists like Bon Iver, Dougie Poole and Father John Misty, Shaedan crafts a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
