Tascheleia is a Kelowna-based professional dancer and nonprofit specialist with over 45 years of experience in dance as an instructor, studio owner, choreographer, performer, and producer across more than twenty genres, with a particular passion for dance ethnology. Since 2010, she has also worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, bringing deep expertise in governance, operations, funding, and community development. She has been recognized with numerous nominations and honors, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 and the 2025 Chamber of Commerce Top 40 Under 40. In addition to her professional work, Tascheleia is an accomplished visual artist, an active community volunteer, and a lifelong learner.
