Creative Okanagan Announces Tascheleia Marangoni as New Executive Director
Kelowna, BC — [January 8, 2026] — Creative Okanagan is pleased to announce the appointment of Tascheleia Marangoni as its new Executive Director. The appointment follows an extensive search led by the organization’s Board of Directors and marks an exciting new chapter for Creative Okanagan and the region’s creative community.
Tascheleia Marangoni is a Kelowna-based professional dancer and nonprofit specialist with over 45 years of experience in the arts. Her career spans roles as an instructor, studio owner, choreographer, performer, and producer across more than twenty dance genres, with a particular passion for dance ethnology. Since 2010, she has also worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, bringing deep expertise in governance, operations, funding development, and community-building.
Her leadership and contributions have been recognized through numerous nominations and honours, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012) and the 2025 Chamber of Commerce Top 40 Over 40. In addition to her professional work, Tascheleia is an accomplished visual artist, an active community volunteer, and a committed lifelong learner.
Creative Okanagan’s Mission is to build a stronger music ecosystem by creating and encouraging accessible music experiences that serve audiences, artists, and stakeholders in the Central Okanagan. Through programs, partnerships, and community-driven initiatives, the organization works toward it’s vision of a thriving Okanagan Music Scene!

Under her tenure as Executive Director, Creative Okanagan evolved significantly, expanding its reach, strengthening its programs, and deepening its role within the community. The organization wishes her every success in her next chapter.
