“How to write a Hit”

Inside the Making of a Pop Song, with Brian Howes. World renowned multi-platinum songwriter and producer, originally from Vancouver and based in Los Angeles. Work includes multi-platinum singles and albums with Nickleback, Hinder, Hedley, Simple Plan, Mother Mother, and Boys Like Girls with Taylor Swift.  Along with engineer/production partner, Jay Van Poederooyen), this workshop covered a Pro Tools session of a recent song from the studio and explained their songwriting process including track creation, melody, hooks and lyrics.
