Community BreakOut West Conference Delegate program

It’s a pretty big deal for Kelowna to hosting BreakOut west in 2023. The event has had a positive impact on our community the last two occasions we hosted it in 2010 and 2018. We are working to create a bigger legacy in our music community this time around, guided by the Central Okanagan Music Strategy. With the support of the City of Kelowna, Tourism Kelowna, Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia and our many volunteers, we will do just that!

By answering the below questions you will be submitting your interest in receiving all or some of the rewards part of this program. They include:

consideration to receive one of up to 10 BreakOut West Delegate passes (valued at approximately $250)
A virtual group session on preparing and making the most of industry conferences with Liam Prost, the Breakout West Programming Manager, in September
To receive invitations to the Creative Okanagan and BreakOut West host committee welcome event on Wednesday, October 11, 2023
Connections to the host committee artist development subcommittee
General support from Creative Okanagan and possible other benefits to be announced

Members of the volunteer BreakOut West Host Committee will review all entries. Those who live in the Central Okanagan, clearly explain why they want to attend and communicate their understanding of the conference will be eligible, considered and invited to participate in all or some of the program components. Submit to your interest to participate by July 13, 2023.
